With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philomena U. Amendt in Seaville, New Jersey, who passed away on May 27, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Salvatore D'Angio; her husband John W. Amendt, Sr.; her son-in-law Robert Kalbach; her granddaughter Phyllis Marie Martino; and her siblings, Louise, Anna Rita, Diana, Frankie, Danny and Tony.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Amendt, Jr. (Linda), Phyllis Kalbach, Debra Fusco (Anthony), Judy Garguilo and Maria Amendt-Smith; and her siblings, Angelina Cellini and Benedict D'Angio (Audrey). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions in her memory to either St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish Food Pantry or Knights of Columbus Christmas Project (Feed the Needy) c/o the church.
