She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Dominick F. Gratale; and her grandchildren, Eve and Alexandrea Gratale. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brigitte loved animals, and was involved in animal causes, rescuing kittens and donating her time at the Secaucus Animal Shelter.
