He was predeceased by : his parents, Catherine West and Raymond J. West; and his siblings, Raymond, Catherine, Thomas and Mary.

He is survived by : his children, Edward P. West (Claudia) and Christine West (Jeff); his grandchildren, Christina, Kevin and Gabby; and his sisters, Claire and Regina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close family members, and friends.
