He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Salvemini and Giovana Salvemini (Grossano); and his wife Marleen Salvemini. He is survived by: his children, Nicholas G. Salvemini (Roberta), Guy N. Salvemini, Gina Barr and Andrew Kane; his grandchildren, Nicholas Christopher, Gabriella Rose, Chassidy Saige, Joey Christopher, Tristan Shane, Nicole and Noah; and his siblings, Maria Busnelli (late Alessandro), Lisa Stefanucci and Sal Salvemini (Virginia). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to The St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or The American Diabetes Association.
