As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sofoclis and Sophia; and his sister Espsia. He is survived by: his wife Rita C; his cousins, Harry and Maria Kokosis; and his close friends, Slelios Kalogerakis and Fotis Daskalopoulos.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home- Ship Bottom (1119 Long Beach Blvd, Ship Bottom, NJ 08008). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish (4700 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, NJ 08008). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Democratic Club of Long Beach Island or St. Anthony Shrine, 100 Arch St., Boston, MA 02110 in John's name.
