Joseph Szark Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Szark Jr. of Ship Bottom, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph (Anna Szark) and NJ; and his wife JoAnn Szark. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Szark, III (Krista) and Joelle Maier (Steve); and his grandchildren, Jonathan, William, Madeleine, Emma and Lily.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas of Aquinas Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Rutgers Cancer Institute.
