She was predeceased by : her parents, Thure Carlstrom and Frances Carlstrom (Card); her brothers, Karl and Albert Carlstrom; and also Highlands of New York City.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Flanagan; her sons, Robert Flanagan, Jr. (Diane), Stephen Flanagan (Leesa) and Kevin Flanagan (Erin); her grandchildren, Robert Flanagan III (Marla), Matthew Flanagan, Kristen Flanagan (David Kasper M. D.), Megan Lee (David), Tara Flanagan, Katherine Flanagan and Patrick Flanagan; her great grandchildren, Robert Flanagan IV, Parker Flanagan and Emma Lee; and her siblings, Andrew Carlstrom, Frances Dorsch, Kay Romeo and Linda Beach.

Due to the current pandemic, all funeral arrangements are private at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce's memory to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org.
