Shirlee Dowd Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026, at the age of 94, Shirlee Dowd of Shrewsbury, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Anable and Elna Hammond Anable; her husband William H. Dowd, Sr.; and her children, Diana McDaniel and James Dowd.

She is survived by: her son William Jr.; her daughter-in-law Jacqueline; her daughter Deborah; and her children-in-law, Raymond Stubbs Jr., Judith Dowd and Brian McDaniel. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Shirlee's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
