He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hardy and Dorothy Hardy (Becker); his wife Lillian Hardy; and his brothers, Frank Hardy, Michael Hardy and Steven Hardy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Tracy, Karen Schaefer (Brian) and Colleen Schummer (Michael); his grandchildren, Ryan Schaefer (Wilmarie), Morgan Tannoia (Joseph), Kevin Tracy, Max Schummer and Zach Schummer; his great grandchild Shea Tannoia; and his brother John Hardy (Antionette). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
