It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert L. Gambone of Somerdale, New Jersey, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine R. Gambone; his son Daniel Cunningham of Magnolia; his grandsons, Daniel and Christopher; his siblings, Lucille Gambone of Somerdale, Angelene Gambone and Thomas Gambone; and his friend Christine. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ora L. Wooster Funeral Home (51 Park Blvd, Clementon, NJ 08021). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to American Legion Post 281 Stetser-Lamartine, 2101 Chews Landing Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012 and/or Raws-Tait VFW Post 7334, 10 Kennedy Blvd., Somerdale, NJ 08083.
