She was predeceased by : her siblings, Kevin Norris and Marion Millington. She is survived by : her husband David J. Retz; her children, David E. Retz (Jennifer) and Anne Hunter (Matt); her grandchildren, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Genevieve, Kelsey, Emma and Tommy; her brother-in-law Bill Millington; her niece Maureen Bruen; and her nephew Billy Millington.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Matthias Church (168 John F Kennedy Blvd, Somerset, NJ 08873). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
