He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Wright; and his siblings, Louise Stokes (Sonny), Idella Christine Van Ness (John), Marjorie Wright, William Wright Jr., Sadie Wright, Gordon Wright and Richard Wright (Charlotte).
He is survived by: his former wife Joan Wright; his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Cheray Wright of Somerset; his daughter Janine Wright (Alan Payne) of Somerset; and his grandchildren, Janelle Melecio, Travis Wright, Jadon Melecio, Damon Wright and Jordan Melecio. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
