He was predeceased by: his parents, Belino Fernandez and Restituta Fernandez. He is survived by: his wife Ida Fernandez; his children, Apple Fernandez, Ian Fernandez (Michele), Marwin Fernandez (Jennifer), Ted Fernandez (Suzette) and Gevril Fernandez; his grandchildren, Chezka, Landon, Kai, Blake, Isla and Koa; his sister Bebeca (Danny); his niece Geralen; and his cousin Hiroshi. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home (18 Stelton Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Frances Cabrini Church (208 Bound Brook Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854). An entombment was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Burial Park (899 E Lincoln Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854).
