With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph M. DiMartino of Somerset, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joseph left this world on July 5, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michele DiMartino (Michael) and Antoinette Monaco. He is survived by: his daughter Donna DiMartino; his son-in-law Louis Thomas of Whitehouse Station, NJ; his daughter Denise Perniciaro; his son-in-law William Perniciaro of Edison, NJ.; and his granddaughters, Lauren, Caitlen Perniciaro and Ana Thomas. He is also survived by siblings, nieces and nephews and many dear friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home (707 E Main St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807). A prayer was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (122 High St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880).
