With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen R. Murphy of Somerset, New Jersey, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on February 14, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Kathleen leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Kathleen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Murphy; and her siblings, John McTague and Marilyn Nunn. She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Murphy (Marcia Munoz) of Somerset; her sister Joan Massarelli of Bayonne; and her granddaughter Aliya Murphy Munoz (Nicolas Walls). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
