She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Kara and Anna Horvath; her husband George Thomas Jr.; and her daughter Karen Ann DeStefano (Anthony). She is survived by: her sons, Paul Michael Thomas (Suzi) and George J. Thomas III (Avery); her grandchildren, Anthony, Christina, Carli, Jennifer, Kelly, Becky and Mikki; and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Adyson, Carter, Logan, Isla, Scarlett, River and Lina.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthias Church (168 John F Kennedy Blvd, Somerset, NJ 08873).
