He is survived by: his wife Kathleen O'Brien; his children, Kevin (Kristin O'Brien) of Sicklerville, NJ, Michael (Meghan Marts) of Rockaway, NJ, Sean O'Brien (Tracey Jones) of Somerset, NJ, Erin (Conrad Harkiewicz) of Yardley, PA and Jennifer (David Herchakowski) of Oceanport, NJ; his brother Dennis (Marilyn O'Brien) of Westfield, NJ; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Connor, Haleigh, Brooke, Alexandra, Avery, Luke and Violet.
