With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Lancsak of Somerset, New Jersey, born in Houlton, Maine, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Lancsak; and her sons, John and Michael. She is survived by: her son Robert (Marjorie Lancsak); and her sister-in-law Helen Lancsak.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
