He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Wheelan; and his stepfather Robert Hans. He is survived by: his mother Alina Hans; his wife Brenda Wheelan; his daughters, Kayla Wheelan of Somerville, Allison Wheelan of Port Murray, NJ and Hannah Wheelan of Somerville; his siblings, Thomas (Debbie Wheelan) of Washington, NJ and Cindy (Robert Herbig); and his grandson Jemal Boyd III. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Greg was a generous man to those in need and was a member of the community charity group the Fraternal Order of Eagles and their associated sub-group, the Eagle Riders where he was active in charity events to help area families.
