The family announces the passing of Julianna B. Kersting in Somerville, New Jersey on September 3, 2026. Julianna, born on December 3, 1927 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. Julianna will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Julianna by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Julianna is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Julianna’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Kersting; and her siblings, Thomas, Carl Bowman, Carolyn Grenther and Jeannette Ertlschweiger.
She is survived by: her children, Charles, Daniel Kersting and Nancy Behn (Robert). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home (111 N Gaston Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Bradley Gardens Reformed Church (124 Old York Rd, Bridgewater, NJ 08807).
