She was predeceased by: her father Stanley Born; her husband Nicholas Pilla; her siblings, Stanley Born, Richard Born, Beverly Norris and Janet Bonser; and her grandson Matthew Zandanel.
She is survived by: her mother Emma Born; her children, David Pilla (Rita), Sheri Zandanel and Lauren Brill (Stephen); her grandchildren, Eryn, Megan, Cassandra Pilla, Nicholas, Jessica Zandanel, Jamie and Joseph Cavallo; her great grandchildren, Aniella and Luciano Liccardi; and her sister Corinne Smith (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bruce C. Van Arsdale Funeral Home (111 N Gaston Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
