It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Aaronson of Somerville, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Herzog and Elizabeth Herzog; and her sister Roberta Shapiro. She is survived by: her brother David Herzog; her sons, Mitchel (Marilu), Rande (Janet), Russ (Dolores) and Todd Aaronson (Sarah); and her grandchildren, Arielle, Cole, Tess, Ethan, Danielle, Samantha, Stephanie, Eddie, Daniel, Zachary and Levi. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Somerset County Library in Bridgewater, NJ ([email protected]), in support of her passion for a world where knowledge and service to others comes first.
