She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Kugler and Clarise Kugler; her husband Joseph; her brothers, Rudy (Rita Kugler), Vic (Marilyn Kugler) and Vinny Kugler; and her grandson Brent Dylan Manara.
She is survived by: her brothers, Rudolph and Vincent; and her children, Upon, Mark Manara (Michele), Christine Stein (Roy), Peter Manara, Jo-Ann Goetting (Keith) and Natalie Oller (Manara). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Vera had a sense of charity and community, collecting door to door for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
