She was predeceased by: her parents, Aziz George and Mary George; her husband Richard "Chops" Tufaro; and her siblings, Nadia Ayoub and Rey George.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia Tufaro of Hillsborough, Christina Hesser (Bob) of Annandale and Michael Tufaro of Alexandria, VA; her brothers, Jameel "Jimmy" George (Sheila) and Paul George (Jennifer); her siblings-in-law, Nahla George and Demitry Ayoub; and her grandchildren, Nicole Thomson, Zachary, Laila Hesser, Richard, Marissa, Isabella and Sophia Tauriello. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
