She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph (Caterina DeMarco) and NJ; and her siblings, Joseph, Alfonse, Genevieve and Vincenza.

She is survived by : her husband Michael Campanelli; her children, Frank Campanelli (JoAnne), Mary Ann Grundman (Chip) and Cathy Pompilio (Anthony); and her grandchildren, Melissa Perone, Christopher Grundman, Catherine Jara, Sarah Connors, Michael Campanelli, Angela Mollet, Christine Polite, Daniel Pompilio and Kyle Pompilio. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the Campanelli family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in Ernestine's name.
