Filomena Calabrese Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 89, Filomena Calabrese of South Plainfield, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ettore (Maria Garofalo) and Filomena; her husband Carmine; and her siblings, Giuseppe, Salvatore, Antonio, Helena and Elio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela (Rich Kline), Patricia Helgesen (Frank Dancsecs), Anna Marie (Bill Russo) and Dora (Brad Fletcher); her sisters, Dora and Alba; her grandchildren, Tina, Paige, Brooke, Luke, Andrea and Dana; and her great grandchildren, Danny, Violet, Nora, Sylvie, Genevieve, Case and Evangeline.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gustafson Home For Funerals (2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (149 S Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
