He is survived by: his wife Barbara Benning; his sons, Daniel J. Benning and John Benning (Goska); his grandchildren, Dustin Benning, Joshua Benning, Ludwick Benning and Weronika Benning; and his half-brother William Benning. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
