He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Sharon, Heather and John; his granddaughter Mikayla; and his siblings, Frank, Nicholas, Paula and Michael.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home (22 Craig Pl, North Plainfield, NJ 07060). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to UDance, an organization dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer and one that holds special meaning for John and his family.
