She is survived by: her husband Harold; her son Gary Scupp (Brenda McKenna) of Walpole, MA.; her grandchildren, Kim Scupp and Dr. Tom; her great grandchildren, Brie and Atli Rowan; her cousins, Christine Zanat Corrales, Randy Zanat and Toni Schlegel; and her uncle Harley. She is also survived by friends, and many dear neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maliszewski Funeral Home (218 Whitehead Ave, South River, NJ 08882). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Stephen Protomartyr RC Church (20 William St, South River, NJ 08882). Until Covid, Helen devoted her time to cooking for Elijah's Promise (soup kitchen). 3 years ago, when Helen turned 100 on August 11th, the church led a mass just for her along with a party for all family, friends and churchgoers.
