He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Alai and John J. Alai. He is survived by : his wife Traci Mosser Alai; his children, Peter Alai and Eleanor; and his siblings, Kathi Kalmbach (Roy) of Vancouver, Washington, Regina Alai of Jacksonville, Florida, Richard Alai (Maureen) of South River, Joanne Alai of Fair Oaks, California and Mary Ellen Keller (John Paulson) of Monroe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
