It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Misurella (South River, New Jersey), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Thompson and Anna Thompson; and her siblings, Jane Sujew and Art Reichenbach. She is survived by: her sister Betty Lou Boring; her husband John Paul Zacharkan; her children, John (Connie), Ronald, Donald, Tracy (John Nemeth) and Julie Schneider; her grandchildren, Kristen, John, Amanda, Rachel, Edward, Matthew and Shyenne; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Claire, Leilani and Milo.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maliszewski Funeral Home (218 Whitehead Ave, South River, NJ 08882). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 9:15 AM and at 10:00 AM.
