He was predeceased by: his children, Lina (Mike Giordano), Bill, Alexandra, Julia and Joseph; his brothers, James and Peter Lau; his nieces, Cadence and Noelle; and his father Tak Ki Lau.
He is survived by: his mother Chui Wa Chen; and his former wife Wendy Zheng.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maliszewski Funeral Home (218 Whitehead Ave, South River, NJ 08882).
