She was predeceased by: her parents, Madeline Brown (Monson) and Donald M. Brown Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Gary Hazekamp; her sister Linda Kraft (Ed); her daughters, Lisa Gardner (Keith) and Janet Mourhess (Bruce); and her grandchildren, Levi, Charis, Gwen, Raelyn, Ezra, Tori and Zachary.
In lieu of flowers Carol's wishes were that "they buy themselves something nice that they've wanted and it can be from me to them with love".
