With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Guy Christopher Metler (Sparta, New Jersey), born in South Amboy, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford W. Metler and Helen Marian Hoffman Metler; and his siblings, Diane Thomas, Denise Szymanski, Carl and Mark Metler.
He is survived by: his wife Angi; his daughter Sarah Metler; his cousins, Beverly Ignatovicz, Howard Hoffman, Mary Fern Szatkowski and Ronald Hoffman; and his sibling's children, Heather Syzmanski, Sue Arms, Kyle Thomas and Michael Metler.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Goble Funeral Home (22 Main St, Sparta Township, NJ 07871).
