He is survived by: his son Michael F. Smith, Jr. (Virginia) of River Edge, NJ.; his grandchildren, Clare Smith of River Edge, NJ. and Michael F. Smith, III of River Edge, NJ.; his former wife Delores Smith of Belen; and his siblings, Marion Albanese of Dover, Anne Bakke of Waymart, PA, John Smith of Hartville, TN and Frank Smith (Shirley) of Wharton.
