He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Winkler and Anna Winkler; his sisters, Anneliese, Louisa and Maria; and his sisters-in-law, Hanni Brugger and Elizabeth Meloskie.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Winkler (Meloskie); his brother Jeff; and his sister-in-law Maryannn Sellitto. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Goble Funeral Home (22 Main St, Sparta Township, NJ 07871).
