He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Hayes; and his grandson Matthew Mitchell. He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Mitchell (Thomas Mitchell); his grandchildren, William Mitchell (Meghan Abdo Mitchell) and Hannah Mitchell; his son Jeffrey Hayes; his grandchildren, Emily Hayes, Masha Hayes and Ryan Hayes; his sister Patricia Leeman; and his pet Jack.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sparta Cemetery (32 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a veterans' organization or animal shelter of your choice in his memory.
