He was predeceased by: his wife Nadia Pakruda (Shawki); his parents, Robert Pakruda and Mary Pakruda (Meehan); and his siblings, Charles and Bernadette.
He is survived by: his son Patrick Pakruda; and his sisters, Cecilia Fedyn (Royce), Catherine Francis (Elie), Cynthia Liapes (Dino) and Agatha Ruddy (Stephen). He is also survived by grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
