Janis M. O'Brien Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis M. O'Brien of Spring Lake, New Jersey, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Parolie and James Parolie; her in-laws, Manetta and Jack O'Brien; her siblings-in-law, Pat Herold and Maurice O'Brien; and her niece Denise Herold.

She is survived by: her husband Vincent; her children, Courtney Linstra (Garry) and James O'Brien; her grandchildren, Griffin and Cameron; her siblings, James Parolie (Donna), Ellen Reggiani (Greg) and Lori Stampfli (Tom); her siblings-in-law, Gene O'Brien (Pat), Susan O'Brien and John O'Brien (Debbie); and her pets, Winston and Monte. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Janis' memory to the ASPCA or an animal shelter of your choice.
