She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Larkin and Elizabeth Larkin; her husband Bernie; her daughter Tricia Merlo; her brother Joe; and her sisters-in-law, Selma Spang of Piscataway and Patricia Larkin.

She is survived by : her brother Michael Larkin of Blue Springs, Missouri; her sons, Tom (Michele), Bernie (Mary) and Brian Merlo of Aberdeen, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Colleen, Cullen, Emma, Maeve Spang and Catharine Merlo.
