Though Richard Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schlossberg and Jean Schlossberg; and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his sister Barbara; his wife Betty Jane Schlossberg; his daughter Rebecca Schlossberg; his sister Debra Rainville; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Del Ghiaccio and Robert Del Ghiaccio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catharine Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762).
