It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Joseph Dawson Sr. of Spring Lake, New Jersey, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Al Gatto; his close friend Bogey; his child NJ; his wife Natalie Anne Dawson (Carpinello); his children, Robert J. Dawson, Jr. (Jennifer) of Spring Lake, Michelle Fay (Thomas) of Wall, Dorey Grimes of Howell and Kathleen Ertle (Erik "Pip") of Manasquan; and his grandchildren, Kristin, Dustin, James, Emily, Kelly, Olivia, Bobby, Ryder, Hunter, Brooks, Isabelle, Thomas, Kellan of Lauren, RJ, Jack, Kate, Dave, Matthew, Brendan and Patrick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manasquan VFW #1838.
