Rose Di Ionno Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Di Ionno of Spring Lake, New Jersey, who passed away on February 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Tricarico and Angelina Tricarico (Brienza) of Catharine's Church; her sons, Paul Di Ionno and John Di Ionno; her aunt Congetta Fornino; and her siblings, Gerald Tricarico (Sandra), Joseph, Lucille Sharp (Bill), Gloria DeNigris (Rocco) and Rita Homer (Gary).
She is survived by: her children, Angela Barens, Susan Lalji (Kailash) and Mark Di Ionno of Mountain Lakes, N. J.; her daughter-in-law Laura Di Ionno (Paul) of Annapolis; and her grandchildren, Christopher Di Ionno (Ashley) of Severna Park, Anthony Di Ionno (Lia Papathomas) of Madison, N. J., Michelle Di Ionno (Ben Shoaf) of Washington, D. C., Mike Di Ionno of Denver, Stephanie Di Ionno (Brian Brady) of Morristown, N. J, Matthew Di Ionno, Cal and Mark Di Ionno, Jr. (Laura Di Ionno) of Hoboken.
She attended daily Mass until she and her husband relocated back to Spring Lake, where Tony died in 2020 at age 96, weeks before the Covid outbreak.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mrs. Di Ionno's name to a children's charity, or her son Mark's efforts to support a special school in Kyiv for children whose parents have died in the Ukraine war.
