He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joseph Gilligan, Sr. and Mary (Giblin) of Montclair, NJ.; and his brothers, Mark, Robert and John.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane (Donohue); his sons, Brendan (Maureen) of Chicago, Patrick (Jennifer) and Peter (Sohini); his grandchildren, Annie, TJ, Keira, Reagan and Lukas; and his brothers, James (Ana) and Edward.
