It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Burkam of Springfield, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Burkam and Harriet Burkam (Gogel); and his brother-in-law Gary Himelson. He is survived by: his son Jason; his wife Denise (Wysocki); his siblings, Beth Himelson of West Orange, Abby Crane (Charles) of Pinebrook and Jack Burkam (Andrea) of Sonoma, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Johnny, Jeffrey, Elliot, Alexander, Joseph, Cheryl and Elise.
