He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hoyt and Norma Zellers Hoyt; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Drake and Virginia Scudder. He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Drake); his son David Hoyt, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Francine; his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Elena; his sister Jacqulyn Downing; and his sibling's children, Phillip Kocher and Sandra Wheeler. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
