He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Peterman; his children, James O. Peterman, Jr. (Jennifer) and Susan Sobkowiak (James); his brothers, Edward Peterman (Nancy) and Robert Peterman (Karen); and his grandchildren, Jimmy Peterman, Sydney Sobkowiak, Jack Peterman, Alex Sobkowiak, Jessica Peterman and Jillian Peterman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
