He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Prete and Lena Prete; and his sister Phyllis Hanahan. He is survived by: his wife Pennie Prete (Blatt); his children, Stacey Gallen, Christine Cunningham (John) and Pete Prete Jr.; his grandchildren, Jay Gallen, Zachary Gallen (Elise), Alyssa Cunningham (Joe), Johnny Cunningham (Julia), Lauren Cunningham, Julia Cunningham and Erin Cunningham; and his sister Gerry White (Buddy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine - St. Luke (55 Warwick Rd, Stratford, NJ 08084). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (St. Luke Church) (55 Warwick Rd, Stratford, NJ 08084).
