As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Bloom (Maurice Preis) and Alan; his wife Sue; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Jaclyn; and his granddaughter Hazel.

He truly loved mentoring young tax professionals and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alan J Preis Memorial Scholarship Fund at the New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJCPA) a 501c3 charitable organization.
