Carol A. Lonergan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol A. Lonergan in Summit, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Martin and Robert Martin; and her siblings, Gary Martin, Adele McQuellen, Catherine Todd and Nancy Frederick.
She is survived by: her family NJ; her husband Dennis "Butch" Lonergan; her children, Brenda Balboni (Jonathan) and Dennis Lonergan (Paula Gregorio); her grandchildren, John Balboni (Caterina), Joseph, Amanda Balboni, Quinn Lonergan, Victoria Balboni, Erinn and Madelynn Lonergan; her great grandchild Penelope Balboni; and her siblings, Ronald Martin and Jean Martin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial (7 Summit Ave, Summit, NJ 07901). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
